Our People & Culture (P&C) Program Integration team is looking for a People & Culture (P&C) Initiatives Advisor to join its team and play a key role in helping to plan, develop, deliver, and evaluate P&C programs that address the varying and complex P&C needs of WorkSafeBC.

In this role, you'll provide daily program and administrative support services in a range of areas including onboarding, performance management, workplace culture, and other programs that support our People and Culture initiative. You'll build excellent relationships with internal partners and clients, partnering closely with various P&C teams, Communications and Marketing, Business Advisory Services, Payroll, and other key stakeholders.

This is a 12-month temporary position.

Where you'll work

At WorkSafeBC, we offer a hybrid work model that combines working remotely, and in our offices based on the operational needs of the position.

What you'll do
  • Participate in the planning, execution and delivery of complex P&C projects as well as the administration of ongoing programs that support employees through the full employee life cycle.
  • Coordinate program and project delivery, including project management, communication, change management, and program evaluation activities.
  • Research information and prepare detailed written project and program reports and documentation.
  • Liaise with staff and management as well as other internal and external subject matter experts, initiate and maintain contacts with internal and external program partners, and develop and facilitate presentations to employee groups.
  • Respond to information requests from internal stakeholders and provide consistent and clear information and advice to clients and stakeholders.
  • With the direction and support of the P&C Specialist or Manager, may identify new and existing P&C program needs, provide recommendations, and support the development, implementation, and administration of new and revised initiatives.

We're looking for someone who can:
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of operational policies, procedures, guidelines, programs and systems.
  • Promotes a client-focused and service-oriented approach in providing program services to employees, raising complex matters to the P&C Specialist or Manager for resolution.
  • Effectively manage and prioritize their workload in alignment with departmental and organizational priorities.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and take a creative problem-solving approach.
  • Work collaboratively within a team environment.

Your background and experience
  • A degree in human resources or a related discipline
  • A minimum of three years of related experience

Salary: $73,678- $89,518 /annually
