The Accounting Advisory Services team is a group of dedicated professionals, with a collaborative working environment that leverages the strengths of the members, who are committed to providing the best possible service to our clients. We are currently looking for individuals who are passionate about using their technical accounting, financial reporting and project management skills in a fast-paced cross functional environment to conquer a wide spectrum of accounting and financial reporting challenges for our clients.
As an Experienced Staff Consultant at KPMG you will play a crucial role in supporting key financial functions and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.

As an Experienced Staff Consultant at KPMG you will play a crucial role in supporting key financial functions and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented individual with a strong analytical mindset and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
What you will do
- Conduct comprehensive financial statement reviews for various private companies
- Prepare and analyze financial statements and customized management reporting packages, including budget and operational analysis, forecasts, EBITDA and operating cashflow
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret financial data.
- Support the month-end and year-end closing processes.
- Assist in the development of financial models for business planning and forecasting.
- Create ad-hoc financial analyses and reports as required.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and reporting standards (GAAP)
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; enrollment in CPA program preferred
- 2+ years proven experience in an accounting consulting environment
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling and data analysis
- Excellent knowledge of financial statements, accounting principles, and financial metrics
- Preference for experience in ERP systems and Cloud based accounting software like QBO and CaseWare
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy
- Strong communication and presentation skills
